As per Annex 9 to the Chicago Convention regarding facilitation of landside formalities for clearance of passengers and aircraft crew, with respect to the requirements of customs and immigration, General Declaration forms should be prepared, filled and signed by the authorized Agent or Pilot-in-command.
A typical form of GD’s can be viewed in Appendix 1 of the said Annex.
Normally, GDs are accepted to issue entry permits by the immigration authorities during arrival flights for general aviation and commercial flights.
GDs ARE NOT ACCEPTED in Iranian airports during arrival now. All fights crew should apply for the arrival visa if entry is required to the main land.
In order to avoid delay, Avio can perform all formalities and arrange quick visa pick up during arrival for flights crew intending to leave the airport. We need passport information and flight details 3 official days prior to arrival to ensure smooth immigration and customs services.
